本故事就是始于江南翠竹镇上，镇上有户孟家其女孟丽君聪明绝顶，喜作男装打扮瞒其父孟士元在外求学，结交朋友。机缘巧合下男装的君结识微服下江南的王孙铁穆耳及忠直少年皇甫少华，三人从此结下不解缘。而君早被某人笛声打动，误以为吹笛人是铁，由此芳心暗许。天意弄人，君父却将君许配世交皇甫敬之子皇甫少华(因华之前化了名，君未知二者同为一人)。
然而眼前这队鬼倭却并未像先前那样出击，只是远远坐在地上打坐闲聊。
