讲的是周家两姐妹的事，姐姐叫徐燕香，妹妹叫周碧莹，从小失散，姐姐流落民间，做女佣女招待过活，而妹妹在国外受教育，回来成了当红女明星，姐妹两人各有一块玉佩是由一块翡翠雕成，可以拼在一起对上花纹。周老爷有个很忠诚的管家。周的二太太即周碧莹生母，为谋夺遗产诬陷大太太即徐燕香生母和管家通奸而徐是通奸所生，周中计即写遗嘱将遗产都留给二太太，并将管家、大女儿和大太太都赶走。二太太随即和情夫谋害周老爷，周老爷临死前被前管家和袁牧师发现，修改了遗嘱，原遗嘱作废，并将遗产留给两个女儿，由两枚玉佩拼起来才可取出（而且需要唯一见证人即他生前管家的签名），但是如果在最后期限前玉佩没能拼接起来，遗产将捐给慈善组织。这个秘密只有管家、袁牧师知道，要由管家去寻找已经失散的徐，两人都找到后才对外公开遗嘱，其他人都不知道玉佩的作用。
不得不说，尹旭之前这步南方战线，进攻临江国算是走对了。
