电视剧《儒林外史》是由安徽电影集团、中国国际文化艺术中心、滁州市及全椒县人民政府联合制作的大型古装电视连续剧。该剧计划拍摄30集，由著名导演郑晓龙担任艺术总监，著名导演王文杰执导。目前，该剧已进入开机倒计时，预计明年春天将在国内主要卫视频道首轮播映。电视剧 《儒林外史》根据吴敬梓同名小说改编。以范进、匡超人、杜少卿三个人物作为故事主线，穷尽儒林世相，体现世态人心，反映了在科举制度下文人士子个体良知的泯灭乃至揭露整个封建社会的丑态。
