本作品改编自正在周刊少年杂志上连载的和久井健的漫画《东京卍复仇者》。描绘了花垣武道穿越到10年前，在车站月台被推着后背跌落到轨道上，在做好死亡觉悟的瞬间成为不良少年的花垣武道，挑战关东最凶的组织东京卍曾的故事。

《法律与秩序：组织犯罪》是《法律与秩序：特殊受害者》的衍生剧，主演是曾在1999-2011年于剧集中演出的ChristopherMeloni。ChristopherMeloni会在此衍生剧中再次饰演ElliotStabler，讲述他在纽约警局领导一支反黑组。
青年律师祝月（陈道明饰）才高气盛而屡受排斥，一气之下抛妻别子远渡东洋，不料刚踏入东京，便陷入邱明海（葛优饰）等人设下的陷阱中受尽磨难，从此踏上艰难的求生之路。幸得龚森林（邵兵饰）及白洁（阮丹宁饰）等人的帮助才得以一一化险为夷，然祝月远在上海的妻子却一无所知，极度孤苦情况下，祝月与白洁终于发展成为一段苦涩的不伦之恋，可百般人为，仍改变不了这一悲苦结局……剧中陈道明一改《康熙王朝》、《黑洞》中的霸者形象，惟妙惟肖演绎了一个受尽苦难的都市小人物形象，而葛优却是继《围城》之后再次“变坏”，将邱明海的坏刻划得入木三分，这一正一反平实之间引人共鸣，看罢感叹万千，凄然泪下。
BBC制作的史诗著作《Bleak House/荒凉山庄》，由英国小说家狄更斯创作，仅用了15集的篇幅(第1集55分钟，其余每集29分钟左右)就把狄更斯最长的一部文学作品(超过60万字)安排得张弛有度、跌宕起伏。在中不仅包含了“疑案”的成分，还出现了侦查案情的侦探——贝克特探长，对于侦探形象和侦探行动有较多也较为细致的描写。除此之外，还涉及了环境污染的问题。它扑朔迷离的情节结构，犯罪和神秘事件的描述，都是为了反映这一时代，为其再现社会、批判社会穿针引线。
