故事讲述的是在公元前800年，来自全球不同地域的羊羊们纷纷云集青青草原，来参加第125届)羊族奥运会。赛场上聚集了各个部族的羊羊们，有盘羊、机械羊、黑山羊、山羊、绵羊、藏羚羊等等，十分热闹。而狡猾的灰太狼自然不会放过这个千载难逢的好机会，他混进羊运会，想出各种办法去抓肥羊吃。于是，一场羊和狼之间斗智斗勇的比赛又开始了。
