该剧将真实地描写不安和恐惧的普通人陷入邪教的过程，通过看上去像真的却是假的长老和牧师的诡辩和行为，以及看上去是假的却能分辨真伪的村里的恶党的凄厉的孤军奋战，讲述告发这个时代的亦真亦假的故事。
