半平太（锦户亮 饰）被逼自尽后竟然穿越到了现代，在经历了一连串宛如灾难一般的意外后，半平太遇见了善良的老人佐伯真人（森本里奥 饰）。佐伯经营着一间补习班，他不仅收留了无处可去的半平太，还任命他成为了补习班的临时老师。
