漫威将和Netflix合作，共同开发4部原创真人超级英雄剧集和1部迷你剧，将按顺序拍摄超胆侠（Daredevil）、杰茜卡·琼斯（Jessica Jones）、铁拳（Iron Fist）和卢克·凯奇（Luke Cage）这四位超级英雄的相关故事。最后还会拍摄1部类似于“复仇者联盟”故事的迷你剧，将四位超级英雄集结，命名为《捍卫者联盟》（The Defenders）。
