该剧改编自横关大的同名小说，刻画了两位性格、价值观、搜查方针完全相反的刑警。山田凉介饰演神崎隆一，田中圭饰演黑木贤司，两人既是刑警又是秘密的异母兄弟。其中神崎隆一是一名充满人情味且一本正经的刑警，他更愿意相信人类好的部分，而黑木贤司是一名破天荒的干练刑警，他以“怀疑他人”为武器解读案件。
